Pelister showed it belongs in the top echelon of Macedonian football after beating Shkendija to win the Macedonian Cup, thus securing a Europa League adventure for the Bitola based club.
After the generation of Vancho Micevski, Stojkovski and Dimov, this is the second time for Pelister to win the Macedonian Cup.
The match ended 0-0 in regulation and remained the same in over time. Penalty kicks were going to decide who wins it all.
Luckily and much to the delight of the traveling fans Chkembari, it was Pelister who ended up on top 4-3. Pelister’s win is also financially lucrative. They’ll receive 33,000 euros from the Macedonian Football Federation.
