Law professor at Shtip University Dimitar Apasiev explained the sheer absurdity of Macedonia’s judicial system, where judges break the law more so than alleged criminals they’re trying to prosecute.
“There are two contradictory judgements for one Court case, by two separate Appelate Courts. This, however is not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that Macedonia’s Supreme Court ruled in favor of both contradicting judgements. This is why Macedonia is in the situation it is in.” Wrote Apasiev on his FB profile.
