Skopje Appeals Court decided to accept former special prosecutor Katica Janeva’s appeal to place her under house arrest.
She had previously offered bail of three apartments, but the Criminal Court did not accept it. She is now going under house arrest, but without bail.
Janeva has been allegedly in custody at the Suto Orizari Prison since her arrest on August 21 this year, when she was arrested as a suspect in the Racket case. However, much of the Macedonian media has reported Janeva never arrived at Suto Orizari and instead has been staying in VIP accomodations at the natural reserve park Jasen.
Below are few photos of the fake transfer of Katica Janeva. No information of who the hired actor is in the photo. At no point during the “transfer” one could see even the slightest of who the detainee really is.
In addition, multiple prison guards confirmed they never saw Janeva at the prison.
