The average net salary in May 2017 stood at 22.889 denars (375 EUR), which is an increase of 2,5 percent compared to 2016.
The gross salary was at 33.640 denars (551 EUR), the State Statistics Bureau informed. By industry, highest increases were reported in mining (14,2 percent), expert, scientific and technical services (5,8 percent) and manufacturing (5,5 percent). Some 1,2 percent of all employed were not paid their salaries in May.
