If we do not sign the friendship treaty with Macedonia, I do not know what else we could sign in the future, said Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on Friday.
“The friendship treaty with Macedonia is exceptionally important. We should leave debates to historians. I am convinced Bulgarian politicians will support us, but the treaty signing also depends from politicians in Macedonia. If we cannot sign this treaty, then what else could we sign in the future?”, said Borisov during a debate.
He added that Macedonia’s NATO accession is in Bulgaria’s interest.
