Breaking: Eurocrats have forced Zaev to resign his post as PM of Macedonia?

3

Diplomatic sources from the European Union said in Brussels on Friday that (illegitimate) Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev had resigned, Italian news agency Ansa reported.

‘Zaev has resigned, European diplomatic sources said on the sidelines of the EU summit’, according to the agency’s short news.

It is also recalled that member states have not reached an agreement on the start of accession negotiations with Macedonia and Albania.

Government spokesman Muhammad Hoxha confirmed to NetPress that Ilindenska is familiar with the news of the Italian agency, but added that Prime Minister Zaev is currently holding consultations at various levels.

MINA finds there are speculations that Oliver Spasovski will replace Zaev in the interim…

Meanwhile, Bulgaria’s PM Boyko Borisov is pleading with Zaev not to quit, at least not until he gives up Goce Delchev and the Macedonian language.
