Venezuela’s opposition leader Juan Guaido, a CIA asset recruited at George Washington University during his graduate studies, stood on a street corner and decided to “swore himself in” as Venezuela’s interim president on Wednesday.

Guaido, head of the opposition-run Congress, had said he would be willing to assume the presidency on an interim basis with the support of the armed forces to call elections. However, the Venezuelan Army has said Guaido is not legitimate.

Within minutes and following Washington’s diktat, Global Affairs confirmed Canada will recognize Guaido in the role. Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland later issued a statement saying Canada supports Guaido’s “commitment to lead Venezuela to free and fair presidential elections” and called on Maduro to cede power.

What Canada’s puppets to the North failed to mention is that Venezuela recently held elections and Maduro won, obviously the result was not well received in Washington as the ‘wrong’ individual won.

U.S. President Donald Trump also issued a statement supporting Guaido, and “encouraged” other Western governments to recognize Guaido as interim president.

South American nations whose Governments were installed via direct US meddling: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay and Peru indicated they too will recognize Guaido.

A spokesperson for Mexico’s Foreign Ministry said Mexico does not plan to change its policy on Venezuela. Cuba, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Bolivia’s president who are still independent of Washington affirmed their solidarity with Maduro in a tweet.  China, Turkey, India and Russia showed their dismay at the US, saying you can’t just decide someone else is a president of another country and stated they only recognized Maduro as president.
