The Parliament today with DPNE’s assistance expressly adopted changes to the Criminal Code that will greatly reduce prison terms for abuse of office, something the SDS and DUI have done a lot of in the past 6 years. If it wasn’t for the DPNE MPs, Parliament wouldn’t have enough MPs to put the law to a vote. But the DPNE never disappoints and once again assisted DUI and SDS.
The proposal was made by the ruling coalition, using the EU flag procedure that cuts short the debate and prevents filibustering. 48 representatives from the majority voted in favor, while 36 from the opposition were against but were present to achieve the 2/3 majority needed for a vote.
