EU conclusions on Enlargement are not adopted, because now it is the Czech Republic & Slovakia not giving green light for their adoption at the EUCouncil. Both nations are against the harsh language used by Bulgaria towards Macedonia regarding history interpretation conditions. Austria joined the Czech Republic and Slovakia in an attempt to rein in official Sofia, all three believing it is Bulgaria who is rewriting history.
The Czech Republic and Slovakia were particularly irked at Bulgaria’s efforts to adopt St Cyril and Methodius as their own.
The negotiations on the enlargement conclusions to be continued, but not much time is left.
