Skopje police informed that it has expanded its data collection on the April 27th storming of the Parliament to include additional charges against four persons.
The persons were named as A.Z. (63), A.S. (39), V.C. (33) and V.T. (40) from Skopje, who were question and afterwards the police provided additional information to the Public Prosecutor’s Office. Another man from Skopje was questioned by the police and subsequently released.
Charges were filed against several dozen protesters who stormed into the Parliament building as an illegal parallel session was held to elect Talat Xhaferi as Speaker. In the ensuing incident, several SDS and AA members of Parliament were attacked and beaten, and about 100 protesters and police officers were injured.
No word on how long the prosecution will be gathering evidence to charge SDS and DUI MPs for the coup.
