“Prime Minister – designate” and SDS leader Zoran Zaev will attend a working dinner Wednesday in Brussels, arranged by the European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini for the Prime Ministers of Western Balkan countries.
European Commission spokesperson Maja Kocijancic told Macedonian media yesterday that Zaev was invited as a PM-designate.
Previously, Mogherini said the event is an invite only for Balkan’s prime ministers and in the case of Macedonia, the interim PM Emil Demitriev was scheduled to go. However, she had changed her statement several hours later, and the “PM Designate” Zaev was invited instead.
Today’s event in Brussels will be also attended PMs of Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo and Bosna/Herzegovina.
