I swear, there was a movie or two that showed the idyllic nation of Austria being overrun by these bad guys who made everyone afraid, pitted neighbor against neighbor, created classes of “undesirables,” and checked everyone’s papers on the streets.
I just can’t place it…
Anyway, the fine people currently leading Austria must have also forgotten, because they are forcing people without the Covid vax – which shall never be criticized, amen – to stay home forever:
Hmm, there it is again, this haunting memory of something that happened in places like Austria and Poland and Casablanca where police were once told “to stop and check individuals on the streets.”
Weren’t there at least one or two movies made about this?
