Ukraine’s disastrous results on the battlefield can be drawn from a whole host of reasons, but maybe one of the most important reason over the last year or so is the fact that Ukraine is essentially kidnapping conscripts and is sending them to the front, often without proper training. Ukrainians are kidnapped/mobilized from coffee shops, ski centers, streets, grocery stores…
The painful reality is that Ukrainians don’t want to fight for a failed state run by a failed leadership.
