Unnamed sources for “Nova Makedonija”, from the United Nations (UN), state that the instruction to the services of the Secretariat states that the term “Macedonian language” must be “avoided”, in accordance with the general position that the term “Macedonia” and all derivatives of this term may not be used. It is further added that from this year the category “Macedonian language” will be used for “ancient Macedonian language”, for which the Greeks are already making efforts to convince the UN that it is a dialect of the ancient Greek language…
The same source explains that in the UN there is a ban (so-called – “BAN”) for the word “Macedonia” and all derived derivatives of this term (Macedonian / ska / sko), which from the previous month also applies to the language.
The University Professor of International Law from the Institute for Political Studies in Belgrade, Igor Janev, claims that these are clear signals and indications in a process of denomination and removal of the Macedonian identity with major assistance by the Macedonian Government, and in that regard he sees the internal decision in the UN to avoid the term “Macedonian language “.
The current Macedonian Ambassador to the UN, Ljubomir Frckovski is known to the public for accepting millions of euros in bribes from Athens. In Macedonia Frckovski acted as de-facto agent of Athens, to such an extent he entered Gligorov’s cabinet and offered him 1m euros in bribes and priceless sculpture courtesy of the Greek Government if he agrees to change Macedonia’s name. Gligorov refused, shortly after he survived an assassination attempt, many believe was organized by Frckovski himself who was the Minister of Interior at the time.
Interestingly enough, Frckovski was refused an Ambassadorial post in Washington because the Americans felt he was too susceptible to bribes.
