Supporters of the United Macedonia Initiative, who took to the streets of Skopje on Wednesday for the 66th time in a row, reaffirm their demand for yet another snap elections against the ‘Euro-bureaucratic illegal structure.’
Bogdan Ilievski, one of the protests organizers, conveyed an initiative’s message, saying that the ongoing developments in Macedonia are ‘a sort of occupation with a self-declared Parliament Speaker.’
‘This Euro-bureaucratic illegal structure of powerful forces, created in a hurry, cannot be legalized by anyone but the citizens via an election process. The day when the voice of citizens will score a victory is to come. As the voice of citizens for united Macedonia is one for respect, love, peace, reason and dignity,’ Iliveski said.
Only citizens are able to save this country, Ilievski’s partner Boris Damovski said, pointing out that fresh elections ‘is the road to freedom.’
Today, the ‘Civic Initiative for United Macedonia’ organized rallies in several cities across the country.
