The Russian Aerospace Forces continued their air campaign over the provinces of Idlib and Hama last night, launching several attacks against the jihadist rebels located near the Turkish border-crossing.
According to a military report from nearby Latakia, the Russian Aerospace Forces conducted several airstrikes over the Idlib Governorate towns of Naqeer, Abdeen, Sheikh Mustafah, Jisr Al-Shughour, Khan Sheikhoun, and Al-Ziyarah.
In addition to the airstrikes, the Russian military also conducted a plethora of reconnaissance missions over the Idlib Governorate, as reports surfaced this week about Islamist rebels preparing to launch an offensive in coordination with U.S. strikes.
Despite the threat of a looming U.S. attack, the Russian Aerospace Forces have yet to let up on their attacks against the jihadist rebels in northern Syria.
Russian fighter jets continue to monitor the coast and other areas around the country, as the U.S. builds a coalition of nations to bomb Syria.
