The benefits of being a member of NATO keep coming for Macedonia and its citizens. After gifting practically its entire air force and battle tanks to Ukraine, Macedonian tourists and residence stuck in Israel were able to once again feel the benefits of NATO membership.
Namely, not a single NATO member was willing to fly out Macedonians out of Israel. Thankfully, Macedonian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic came to the rescue, yet again. Serbian national air carrier offered to take the remaining Macedonian citizens and flew them out of Israel.
