The Ministry of Interior has replaced and demoted dozens of highly skilled elite policemen in the past three months.
After Skopje media reported over 30 elite policemen have been demoted to training police dogs after refusing to accept a criminal as their supervisor, the MoI issued a statement that it does no such things. Only days later however, the MoI admitted it does indeed demote policemen and installs party activists in their place.
The MOI described this as standard procedures.
