Protesters in front of Macedonia’s presidents’ home demand end of ‘name negotiations’

The termination of the name negotiations and the defense of the constitutional name require the members and supporters of the associations Macedonian National Council – Makedonium and the Christian Brotherhood.

Between fifty and one hundred demonstrators are currently in front of the President’s residence and are looking for a meeting with Gjorge Ivanov, reported Skopje media.

Demonstrators demand that the president notify the UN that Macedonia is stopping the talks (name talks) with the Republic of Greece and submitting a request to the UN General Assembly by passing through a simple majority of the present member states to continue membership in the UN as the Republic of Macedonia.
