On the show “Real Story” on the Albanian national television “Vision Plus”, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama stressed that he and his party continue to hold the position that he, as prime minister, made the Law on Languages in Macedonia pass.
Rama called Macedonian President Giorgi Ivanov a person of flawed character, because he had issues with the Albanian language.
“We are not involved in the sense of supporting one side in the political conflict between the Macedonian parties, we are included in the function of uniting the Albanian factor and advancing the agenda of the Albanians, universally referred to as the Ohrid Agreement, where Albanian language is an essential element, which means that without the Socialist Party of Albania and its government there would not have been such a result that until a few years ago was unthinkable, where the Albanian language would be officialized in a completely different way.

Rama stressed he is open to Albanians in Macedonia opting for independence, as according to him, it was their right.
