A new procurement scandal is revealed in the city of Skopje. Mayor Silegov is planning to purchase concrete flower pots for over a thousand EUR a piece.
The procurement contract provides 3 million denars, or 50,000 EUR, for just 45 pots, which brings the average total cost of each flower bed at 1,111 EUR. It’s the latest criminal contract by Shilegov who keeps pocketing people’s money. This contract is being pushed shortly before the October elections.
MINA finds the true cost of these flower beds is roughly 50 EUR each.
