Slovenia: UK’s anti Russian ramblings is not evidence on Skripal case

Slovenia’s Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec said the government, which tomorrow will discuss the “Skripal” case in the English city of Salisbury, will not propose any diplomatic measures as a solidarity with Britain.

“For the time being, I think that it is necessary first to clear up what happened in Salisburi, it is a vague and bizarre case, with apart from media ramblings, we have seen zero evidence” Erjavec told reporters before the regular meeting of the coalition that sets the agenda for the regular government session.

Earlier this week, Erjavec said that Slovenia is not currently considering diplomatic sanctions, that is, symbolically renouncing the hospitality of a Russian diplomat from the embassy in Ljubljana to appease the British, and that an international investigation should be conducted and prove what happened.

So this is what is like to be an independent country?
