Tamara Todevska, who will represent Macedonia at the Eurovision song contest in Israel in May, told N1 TV that for her it is not important that Macedonia will be represented as “North Macedonia”.
What is important for us is to be noticed and to be talked about, Tamara replied, before adding that the Macedonian team will be there as Macedonians, therefore whether it’s as Fyrom or North, it didn’t matter much.

Usually during the event Macedonia was announced as FYR Macedonia, Macedonia, or former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, depending on who the announcers were.
