Temelko loses local elections in Albania boycotted by Opposition


Edmond Temelko lost the local elections in Albania. Pali Andon Kolefski of the Socialist Party is the new mayor of Albanian municipality of Pustec, which is mainly populated by ethnic Macedonians. Kolefski defeated Temelko with 780 votes more.

After 12 years the municipality of Pustec returns under the leadership of the Socialist Party.

Pustec is the first municipality to officially announce the results of the count of the local elections in Albania.
