Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Nikola Todorov announced on Monday that he is resigning his seat in Parliament.

“In the future, I will focus more closely on my law career, as well as on contributing on party activities. For this reason, I inform you that I have resigned my position as member of Parliament”, Todorov said.

Todorov led the VMRO-DPMNE list at the 2nd electoral district, and his seat in Parliament will be filled by Nevenka Stamenkovska, who is next on the VMRO-DPMNE list. Todorov also served as Education Minister, and was one of the top VMRO-DPMNE negotiators during the political crisis talks with SDS and was the signatory of the disastrous Przino Agreement.
