Someone appears to have hurled a cell phone at US President Donald Trump as he walked on stage for a speech to the National Rifle Association. Trump won’t regret missing the call.
The person was reportedly arrested. Though the throw missed by a country mile, many on social media jokingly said they hoped it would have hit its mark.

That aim was terrible – clearly not an NRA member

Some believed the phone was not directed at Trump…
That was quite clearly not thrown at him

Others recalled the Iraqi journalist who tossed a shoe at US President George W. Bush during a 2008 press conference in Baghdad. That throw, while far more accurate, was evaded by the then-president.
