When it became known that [Armenia’s] Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has handed over the seven regions of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] and Shushi [city], large-scale protests began in the capital [of Armenia Yerevan] and in various parts of the republic. The demonstrators occupied the government building, the National Assembly building, and the Prime Minister’s residence.
Rumors were circulating that Nikol Pashinyan has hid in the MOD shelter.
According to our government sources, the Armenian PM is hiding in the US Embassy in Yerevan, just as he did in 2008. The Embassy building is the safest area for him.
Pashinyan signed-off Armenia’s defeat in Nagorno-Karabakh, losing 40% of it militarily and agreeing to give up essentially the entire region to Azerbaijan without a fight in weeks time.
