The European Union has denied the Government of the Republic of Macedonia public statement it has started accession negotiations with the Union, after euphorically announcing a lie that Macedonia has scheduled accession talks for June 2019.
In this context, the EU issued a statement stating:
“The European Union has not given its consent to the accession negotiations of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, but has been given a conditional recommendation for initial accession negotiations if the country makes the reforms, that is, they meet the criteria that are in force in the EU,” the statement said.
According to the EU report, the reforms refer to improving the justice system, reducing corruption in the country, reforming the media and freedom of speech, reforming agriculture, health, etc… essentially everything Zaev and his junta have destroyed over the past year.
