Saudis informed in advance of Sri Lankan attacks

Sri Lankan police have arrested a Wahhabi preacher, Mohamed Aliyar, director of the Islamic Guidance Centre in Kattankudy, an eastern city with a Muslim majority.

He is reportedly linked to Zahran Hashim, the head of Daesh’s Easter operation, which killed nearly 270 people and injured more than 500.
The Islamic Guidance Centre, which was frequented by Daesh’s local chief, is funded by donations from Mohamed Aliyar’s classmates in Riyadh.

The Lebanese newspaper, published by Hezbollah, Alahed News, published a facsimile of a cable from the Saudi Foreign Minister to his ambassador in Sri Lanka. It is dated April 17, 2019. It reads as follows:

“Urgent – Top secret To His Excellency Ambassador Abdul Nasser bin Hussein al-Harethi You must immediately take the following actions:

1: You must delete all documents, computer data and last correspondence with national and foreign members and groups, you must also impose a curfew for embassy staff unless[travel] is necessary;

2: You must inform all those associated with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including advisers, security forces and intelligence services, to avoid any presence in public and overcrowded places, including churches, over the next three days, especially that of Christian Easter; –

3: You must regularly send written news about the Sri Lankan authorities and their views to this ministry. Signed: Ibrahim bin Abdul Aziz al-Assaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs “.

The attacks took place on 21 April 2019.

The official Saudi television channel, Al-Arabiya, announced on
1 February 2014 that Daesh was headed by Prince Abdul Rahman
al-Faiçal (brother of the then Minister of Foreign Affairs).

Following President Donald Trump’s Riyadh speech, Saudi Arabia
withdrew its support for jihadist organizations. However, the
case of the “Movement for Faith”, referred to in British
propaganda as the “Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army”, showed that
Saudi Arabia was leading Rohingya terrorism in Myanmar in 2017.
Since then, there have been numerous unverified reports of
Riyadh taking control of the jihadists.
