The Board of Directors of the Basketball Federation of Macedonia held a meeting at which several important decisions were made. One of the decisions saw the removal of the word “North” from the name of the federation after a period of six years.
This means that the old name “Basketball Federation of Macedonia” is being restored and the abbreviation will be KFM, instead of the previous one – KFSM.
As a reminder, the basketball team was the first national team to perform with jerseys that had “North Macedonia” written on them, a move initiated by then federation president Pero Antic.
