UEFA will allow FC Vardar to welcome FC Copenhagen at its home grounds in Skopje, however there is a catch. Fans will be allowed attendance only on the Southern and Western stands, while the Northern and Eastern stands are undergoing “beautification” in preparation for the UEFA Super Cup between Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Vardar’s management lowered the ticket costs for the home match. In Strumica against Malmo the price was 500 denars, and now for Copenhagen they are 300 denars for the South stand and 200 denars for the Western stand.
Since only these two stands are available, we’re anticipating around 20,000 fans.
Vardar plays its first match against Copenhagen at home on July 25th, at 8:00pm local time.
