Arsim Papanicu is the businessman who transported Artan Grubi to Kosovo with his vehicle and diplomatic plates shortly before the start of the police operation, Telma learned from sources in the investigation.
Grubi traveled to Kosovo under diplomatic cover with the well-known businessman in the region from Macedonia, Arsim Papraniku, who in turn was named honorary consul of the Republic of Kosovo in the Republic of Macedonia in 2018. The consular area includes the city of Struga, and as honorary consul, Papraniku operated in the Republic of Macedonia, in accordance with the rules and norms of consular activities and had the task of promoting and protecting the interests of Kosovo.
Clearly, in this case Arsim had abused his position of an honorary consul and assisted a known criminal to flee the country. And he did it knowingly.
Papraniku is the owner of chain store Neptune and also invested in the construction of East Gate Mall, Telma writes.
