Former Macedonian PM Nikola Gruevski wrote a status on his FB account where he stated that ex PM Zoran Zaev who fled the country as soon as he lost the elections is now building a massive sky scraper in Dubai with money stolen from Macedonia’s budget.
“He is probably very proud of himself at this moment in time, according to my information, Zaev is building an 82-story tower in Dubai, an investment of over 600 million euros. Most of the money for this investment was embezzled through a massive racket like never before in the existence of Macedonia and with the abuse of power during his reign. This was all in cash and then transported by private plane to Dubai and placed in a bank account. At the same time, he is preparing for a new major investment in another country in Asia, encouraged by the thought that he has resolved all issues of his impunity on all possible grounds. But this false believer, an evil and money-hungry man, should know that he has many people, including Igor Jug, in his heart, that the evil he did in Macedonia and to Macedonians to get to those millions and billions of euros, the majority of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia will never forget and will demand responsibility for the betrayal of national interests and organized crime related to cannabis, tenders in the energy sector like REK Bitola, in the pharmacy sector during the Covid crisis and in general for the massively widespread corruption and mass racketeering like never before in the history of Macedonia’s independence, as well as for the brutal political persecution of political dissenters,” Gruevski wrote, among other things, on Facebook.
