Israel thinks of Preemptively striking Iran, Moscow sends rockets to Tehran

A pre-emptive strike against Iran – something that leads to a generalized war – the opposition and many top officials of the Defense and Security sector are asking M. Netanyahu. The pressure is growing after the confirmed information about the transfer of Russian weapons to Tehran.

Everything shows that the Middle East is going through very critical moments. This Iranian attack will not “just” end like last time.

According to the Israeli media Kann News, Israel is preparing for an immediate response against Iran when it attacks.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant today visited the Israeli Air Force’s Underground Command and Control Center at IDF Headquarters in Tel Aviv’s “The Kirya” to ensure that preparations for an Iranian and/or Hezbollah attack are complete.

Yoav Gallant pointedly stated:

“We have to be prepared for anything, including a quick transition on offense.”

According to the Times of Israel, Israel is considering launching a pre-emptive strike to deter Iran if it finds hard evidence that Tehran is preparing to attack, Jewish media reported, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu summoned his security chiefs Israel in council of war.

The council included Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herchi Halevi, Mossad chief David Barnea, and Shin Bet chief Ronen Barr.

Opposition leader Gair Lapid has criticized Israel’s leadership for its handling of the Iranian threat, arguing that “there is no deterrence and there is no Government”.

“I would like to ask the Israeli Government, is what we are seeing in the last days the new everyday life?” Lapid asked during the weekly meeting of his Yesh Atid party in the Knesset.

“Is it acceptable to you that for five days an entire country has been sitting and waiting to be bombed?”

“Is this the new normal where northerners won’t get a hint from the government about when they can go home?” he continues, accusing the government of “not even pretending” to try to get evacuated northerners back to their cities.

“The new normal is that new parents don’t go to a public park because it’s far from a shelter. Foreign airlines do not want to fly here, because there is no one to trust. Everyone is waiting and waiting and they don’t know what they are waiting for ,” adds Lapid.

Even hospital parking lots are being prepared in Israel – Iran has formed the ‘Qassem Soleimani Force’

Iran is reportedly forming a new regional force called the Qassem Soleimani Forces, which has a structure similar to that of the Iranian IRGC Guards and will include Iran’s Shiite forces in Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq and Syria, the UAE-based Al-Ain News citing regional sources.

The new group will initially consist of 10,000 members, 20 percent of whom will be Yemen’s Houthis, with Hezbollah playing a direct role at its administrative and organizational levels, the report said.

The recent death of a Houthi in Iraq during a US airstrike is said to be linked to the new group formed by the Islamic Republic.

This force is believed to assist Hezbollah in ground operations, which points to a general war in the region.

For this reason, Israel is even turning hospital parking lots into “emergency departments” in order to respond to the increase in casualties.

Official Russian delegation in Iran

Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu has arrived in Iran for a planned working visit to discuss global and regional security issues, the Russian Security Council announced on Monday. However, the issue of escalation in the Middle East, with Iran’s impending attack on Israel, will also be discussed!

Shoigu will hold talks with his Iranian counterpart, Ali Akbar Ahmadian, and the Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri. Shoigu will be received by Iranian President Massoud Pezheskian.

The agenda includes a wide range of issues of cooperation between Russia and Iran in Tehran, including security and economy.

Russian arms airlift to Iran – Tehran confirmed

Israeli media confirm the transfer of Russian weapons systems to Iran.

The Israelis are talking about emergency flights of Russian transports to Iran with military advisers from critical sectors and sensitive equipment:

According to the Israeli media Channel 14, Russia urgently transferred Iskander ballistic systems and Murmansk-BN electronic warfare systems to Iran on Il-76 transport aircraft.

Last week Russian Il-76 transports landed at some airports in Iran carrying ammunition and various military equipment.

Two Iranian officials recently confirmed that Tehran has requested modern radars and anti-aircraft systems from Russia as it prepares for war with Israel.

However, it is unlikely that Russia has transferred Iskander-M ballistic missiles to Iran as their range is only 500 km while Tehran has missiles with a longer range.

What it may have carried – and probably did – are anti-ship missiles, electronic warfare systems and anti-aircraft systems.

Unless Moscow gave away the Iskander-K cruise missiles…
