Macedonia’s Ambassador to Australia, Vele Trpevski has paid a working visit to Western Australia, where he met with its Premier Mark McGowan.
Ambassador Trpevski also met with Mike Nahan, leader of the opposition in Western Australia, as well as with several ministers in charge of political and business ties.

It has been concluded that the current example of political and business contacts of Australian companies with Macedonian businessmen is a good start to attract more Australian firms to invest in Macedonia.
Moreover, Ambassador Trpevski and PM McGowan discussed the cultural development of the Macedonian community in Australia and its efforts to preserve the linguistic and cultural identity in Australia’s multicultural society.
They also reviewed ways to boost political and economic relations between Macedonia and Australia.
