The resort town of Toroni in Greece, a popular place among Macedonian tourists saw major floods this morning. Tourists who stayed at the lower first floors of apartments/hotels were evacuated due to increase in flood waters. Dozens of vehicles were damaged, some swept away from the incoming water.
Greek media and weather service report similar floods occurred elsewhere in other parts in the region.
