The ruling Government led by VMRO-DPMNE won outright in the following municipalities:
Berovo, Bitola, Bosilovo, Butel, Vasilevo, Vevcani, Veles, Gazi Baba, Gevgelija, Gradsko, Gjorce Petrov, Delcevo, Demir Hisar, Zhelino, Zelenikovo, Ilinden, Jegunovce, Kavadarci, Karbinci, Kisela Voda, Kratovo, Novaci, Novo Selo, Ohrid, Petrovec, Pehcevo, Prilep, Radovis, Resen, Sveti Nikole, Sopishte, Staro Nagorichane, Strumica and Stip.
SDSM won outright in Bogdanci, Kriva Palanka and Krivogashtani.
Coalition “Vredi” won outright in Zelino, Saraj and Tearce.
Second round will commence on November 2nd for municipalities where a clear winner (>50%) was not achieved. The ruling Government is a favorite to win the remaining municipalities including the top spot for the Macedonian capital where VMRO-DPMNE’s Orce Gjorgjievski is leading by a large margin.
