Palermo’s owner Mauritio Zamparini wrote a letter to FFM’s boss Ilcho Gjorgjievski, asking him not to call Nestorovski for the upcoming friendly match against Norway, on November 8th.

Nestorovski is playing in a spectacular form for Palermo and has netted four goals in the last two matches. Currently, the Sicilian club is in the first place in Seria B and is seeking to make a quick comeback to Seria A.

Dear president Gjorgjievski, I would like to ask of you to please not call Ilija Nestorovski for your friendly with Norway, he is a crucial member of our team. I would personally be very grateful to you if you respond positively to my request. I hope we meet in the near future and would like to invite you to visit Sicily and watch Palermo, Nestorovski and Trajkovski. I salute you in the name of all residents of Palermo” says Zamparini in his letter to the FFM boss.’

It appears the Sicilian owner has made an offer that Gjorgjievski cannot refuse. Or could he? From the roster released by Angelovski for the upcoming match against Norway, Nestorovski is on it.
