An explosion in a restaurant at Velipoja beach resort in the north of Albania on Friday left five people seriously wounded while 20 to 30 others sustained lighter injuries.
The owner of the restaurant and two other restaurant employees have been transported by helicopter to a hospital in Tirana. Police evacuated tourists from the area and are working to stop the fire from spreading.
Reports blamed the fire and explosion on a gas tank leak.
