The Russian military eliminated Nikolai Kravchenko, one of the main ideologists of Ukraine’s Azov nationalist regiment (banned in Russia), his acquaintances and commander Andrei Biletsky said, Baza Telegram channel reports.
Nikolai Kravchenko, a nationalist with the call sign ‘Kruk’ (‘Raven’ in Ukrainian) was killed in Mariupol, when surrounded by the forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The Azov Regiment was formed in 2014 in Mariupol as part of the military unit 3057 of the Eastern Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine. Its participants are associated with Nazi ideology.
