The letters “Government of the Republic of Macedonia” on the facade of the Government building were removed last night to make room for Zaev’s new name of the country.
Macedonia is a unique case worldwide where the citizenry does not recognize or accept a country’s new name, but an illegitimate Government insist upon it as a way to enter NATO’s military alliance.
Users on Social media have had a field day with putting their own name on the Government HQ, with many insisting to give it a name closest to reality: Mental Asylum, Psychiatric Ward etc…
