Zaev buys electricity for 5.5 million euros, secretly without anyone knowing, MINA has found.
26,000 megawatts of electricity was purchased for 5.5 million euros from ELEM, because Zaev’s government emptied the power plants and left REK without coal. Together with the first 15 million euros that MEPSO paid for a month for stealing from the European network, that is 20 million euros that the state has wasted because of Zaev’s recklessness, so that it does not run out of electricity.
At the beginning of the winter, Zaev left REK without coal. Only 40,000 tons of coal, which is enough for only three days is located at the REK landfill. The state is literally at risk of running out of electricity or paying for it at extremely high rates. This is all thanks to the criminal Zaev clan who along with his brother Vice has total control of REK Bitola.
