The release two Greek soldiers accused of illegal entry into Turkey was rejected by a Turkish court in Edirne on Monday.

According to reports, the two Greek soldiers claimed they lost their orientation due to severe weather conditions on Thursday, and crossed the border between Greece and Turkey.

They were then captured by Turkish soldiers on patrol.

Their initial hearing took place the next day and they were remanded in custody on charges of illegal entry into Turkey.
