The Macedonian national basketball team is naturalizing its 10th American player since 2005. The lucky man is 27 year old Jordan Theodor, who is currently playing for Turkish club Banvit who is coached by Macedonian Sasho Filipovski.
He is playing in the playmaker role, just like New Orleans native Bo McCaleb who made significant contribution to Macedonia’s run in Lithuania that resulted in a 4th place for the national team.
Jordan has had quite a good season in Turkey, was voted MVP in the basketball champions league after averaging 15.9 pts, 7.7 assists per match.
Macedonia has fallen quite a bit in the ranks during the last 16 months and is now starting off its world championship campaign in pre-qualification mode against Estonia and Kosovo.
