US quiet as Turkey unleashes fury on Kurds in Syria

The Turkish Air Force has bombed the largest Syrian airbase in northern Aleppo tonight, marking the first time during the Syrian War that this military installation has been bombed by a foreign entity.

According to pro-YPG activists, the Turkish Air Force bombed the Mennagh Airbase near the Afrin Canton, targeting the Kurdish troops inside this large installation.

In addition to bombing the Mennagh Airbase, the Turkish forces are heavily shelling several areas under the YPG’s control in the Afrin Canton and imperative town of Tal Rifa’at.

The Turkish Armed Forces are expected to launch their ground invasion of Afrin tomorrow, as the weather conditions improve in northern Syria.
