Ukraine’s Zelensky has gone from “We are not giving up an inch of Ukraine’s territory“, to “It’s Ok to lose Eastern Ukraine, we’ll recapture it later with new weapons“.
US and the UK are urging Ukraine to fight until the last soldier standing. However, this scenario is unfolding rather quickly. Ukraine’s armed forces are being decimated despite Moscow using less than 7% of its capabilities, mostly due to the fact it wants to protect millions of Russians living on Ukrainian territory, particularly in the East, South and North of the country.
Mariupol was by far the largest gain for Moscow. It’s a city of 500,000 people, it was heavily fortified and defended by over 25,000 UAF. Today we know that at least 4,000 UAF have surrendered, with another 2,500-3,000 trapped in Azovstal (Europe’s largest metallurgy plant). The real gain for Moscow is certainly Azovstal. Not the plant, but the 300+ (NATO) American, Canadian, British and French officers trapped there which include even the ranks of generals. Many of them have been killed, but there are few hundred still alive. Over the past few days, British intel officers wearing UN uniforms are at Azovstal, trying to evacuate their NATO officers who are now posing as “civilians”.
Russia won’t allow NATO officers to leave unscathed. There are two possibilities here: They will be either captured and tried for terrorism in Moscow and sent to Siberia to serve their sentence, or KIA.
Macron has told 50 French officers serving NATO in Azovstal “Thanks for your service, goodbye”.
This isn’t a war between Ukraine and Russia, it’s between NATO and Russia, Ukraine is simply used for cannon fodder, quite effectively.
The British SAS has a large presence in Ukraine, in most major cities, the largest of which is in Kiev. Russian Spetznas captured two Russian speaking British SAS operatives in Kherson who were sent on recon mission.
If OSCE was spying for UCK terrorists in 2001, now OSCE is spying on Uncle Sam’s orders for Ukraine, while on paper they are ‘neutral’. Most OSCE employees in the field are British, French, Polish intel officers who work for NATO.
